- First hard cover edition via the Science Fiction Book Club (1980). Dust jacket shows moderate wear, with a large (>1") tear to the lower right front flap hinge crease. Bottom edge also shows some moderate creasing, denting and chipping at spine. Top edge of dust jacket has some heavy creasing on the front cover and top of spine, back part of cover shows two large (>1') tears on the right side near the spine. There is also a small (<1/2") tear at the top of the back cover flap hinge. Cover itself shows very mild shelf wear to edges and corners. Binding remains tight, though not fully intact as there is some separation in the gutter between the title page and front end paper. Good used reading condition. Removable dust jacket protector has been applied.
