Purchase and consume quality coffees, teas, and delicious food stuffs; Experience a thriving community and shared interests with other human beings; Provide a “third space” of urban living where a person can exist (or even loiter) for a reasonable amount of time without need of purchase (a little easier to implement with a seating area). Perhaps you'll join us there, too

Caterpillar Cafe at PNNL Is the second location of a small cafe in Richland's Uptown Shopping Center. Founded originally as a Steampunk cafe in 2014 in the shared space of Adventures Underground's record department (Au Records), the Caterpillar Cafe name was taken from Alice in Wonderland, a theme shared with the conjoined book/record/comic/game/hobby/toy store (Adventures Under Ground was the original title Lewis Carroll gave to the famous book). Over the years we have grown tremendously, from coffee to paninis, to beer on tap, to science-themed collectible drinkware, to Asian food imports and some Mexican soft drinks. Now with a full kitchen at PNNL, we can supplement our offerings at our Uptown location, and all-around improve our fare and services.
