Trade Program Information:
We are currently accepting trade for:
Graphic Novels (Not Single-Issue Comics), Manga, Vinyl, MTG Cards and RPG Books.*

Adventures Underground accepts trade of gently used products in exchange for in-store credit. Trade can be dropped off with an associate at the front counter any time during store hours. Normally, we process trades within 3-5 business days, but it can take up to a week depending on current business demands. We will contact you via text or phone (you may specify which you prefer) to let you know how much credit you have been given. Once you have been notified of your credit, it is ready and available to be applied towards your purchases.
Payment is offered as store credit only (see below for information on store credit). Items are evaluated based on condition and current store demand. A percentage of the item's cover price (generally between 20%-25%) will be issued for any item we accept.
You may choose to have the trade items we decline returned back to you, or you can donate them to the store (this may lead to them being passed on to the Richland Public Library, or turned into clearance items.)
Trade is limited to a total of 2 crates of product (1 crate for vinyl) per customer. We will provide crates when we're signing in your trade, and will return your original containers back to you. Please be aware that once the Trade Agreement is signed, we will not return to you any accepted trade items regardless of seller's remorse. Once your current trade has been processed and you have been notified of your credit, you are welcome to bring in more trade if you wish.
We cannot make an offer until we see the products in person, and we do not offer estimates over the phone. Due to business flow we do not offer on-the-spot trade processing for walk-ins.
Condition Criteria:
When gathering items for trade, please make sure to check for any stray personal items like mail, photos, greeting cards, and receipts or money. Items we find during processing will not be returned.
We are most interested in Like-New and very good condition products. Like-New products are likely to receive higher credits than items with more wear. Items that are water damaged or warped, have strong staining or discoloration, strong odors (such as smoke), or large tears/pieces missing will be passed on. Items must be complete, including all pieces originally provided when the product was new. Products with small tears and dents, or some markings inside will be considered though there may be a slight reduction in credit issued.
Please note that for the health and safety of our employees, we will not accept any trade that includes or smells like animal waste or has signs of insect damage or infestation. Please do not bring in anything with mouse droppings, cat urine, insects or insect eggs etc on it. Repeat offenses will result in a trade ban on your account.
We offer Game Consignment as well!
Offered for board games, card games, and RPG kits only. For these items, you will count the pieces, certify the contents, and set a selling price for the game or kit. We will enter the item into our consignment system, and after the item sells, you will receive 70% of the selling price in store credit. See the Games Submission Form for more details, or ask an associate for clarification.
Using Store Credit: 50% of the pre-tax total of any sale may be paid by store credit. (The rest must be some variation of "real" money.) Please be aware that store credit is not accepted at the Caterpillar Café.
